For the rest of the summer, due to reduced bus service, I'll be walking from my car, across campus, to my building three days a week. Today I stumbled upon this doing that.
I have no idea what this is and I'm 95% sure it wasn't there when I was a student. |

Beautiful Lengths

So this is what I did last night:
Because my hair had a ton of layers in it and I wanted to get as much as possible out of the donation, did it myself in 9 sections, doing the layers separately, if that makes sense. My head looked really silly when I measured and rubber-banded it so I didn't take any pictures.
All together it looks like this:
I will be mailing it off soon to Pantene's version of Locks of Love, Beautiful Lengths. I chose Pantene's thing because the minimum length is shorter which meant I could get it over with sooner and have longer hair after. My hair had gotten so long that it was getting in my way and it was either this or cutting off 3-6" which would get thrown away. Not doing Locks-of-Love was the other reason I did it at home. Not that I bothered to ask any salons if they would do the shorter cut. But whatever.
After some work what remained of my hair came out like this:
Meh. |
Photos of me should not be taken before noon. |
Bangs will NOT be happening. |
I'm starting to agree with that "no good deed goes un-punished" or maybe I should have just gotten it cut by a professional. Bygones.

So some of you may have noticed that I have all but thrown out the format of my blog over the past few weeks. Well I had stuff I wanted to post and my themes were holding me back. After I found myself posting a lot more without them I decided to just move on and so I welcome you to the new version. Pretty much the same but without the little icons in the corner all the time.
Since I'm actually posting media on a Monday, I chose to use the appropriate icon today because, why the heck not?
So for the past couple weeks I have been obsessed with this song,
THIS will be my new song obsession for at least the rest of the week,
(how cute is she!?!?) which was in this scene of Cougar Town,
(I had to improvise to get it myself because it is not on YouTube, so my apologies for the less-than-awesome audio) And now all I want is a mobile wedding on the beach like theirs. Every guest could have a front row seat!
